I recently visited the Chanel counter and found out some great news that I would like to share with you!

CHANEL has recently launched a new collection of lip products called Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss. These lip glosses are marketed as “The Pure Essance of Colour and Shine”

Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss comes in 9 shades;

I completely fell in love with the #56 Imaginaire colour! I wear it all the time, it gives my lips a high-gloss, pigmented look and the best thing about it, is that, it doesnt dry my lips!

These wonderful lip glosses come in a elegant shiny black tubed with gold trim, a little similar to the Rouge Allure Lacques but much taller! The Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss tube is stamped with “Chanel Paris” and “Chanel New York”

The applicator is very different then the traditinal Chanel  applicators the Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss applicator is more thinner and more flexible, similar to a triangle shape.

The Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss promises “bold colours and intense shine combined with the smoothest, silkiest gel texture for luxurious wear creates a dramatic effect. Lips feel comfortable – never sticky or tacky – and look luminous, full and sensuous for hours. The double-sided, flocked applicator delivers ultra-precise definition.”

Skin Care Product

I recently started using a new skin care line – called NELLY DEVUYST!!! Thanks to my skin care specialist, Yolande, who referred me the products.

It is absolutely amazing!!! I started using the milk cleanser “Hydrocell”, the skin toner “Sensitive ” , the day cream, which I ADORE!!  “Dry skin” and I also exfoliate twice a week with ” 3 minute gommage”

It’s been 2 months now and these Nelly Devuyst has worked wonders on my skin and I highly recommend it to whoever is looking in investing money on some really good products.

I suggest to go see a specialist to examine your skin and don’t forget to ask for some samples to use at home before buying any products.

Some makeup artist like to apply foundation with a brush, some like to use their hands, I love to use a sponge.

 This reusable blending sponge works really well in making your foundation look very natural! It helps it blend in evenly, leaving  no steaks behind. It’s pointy tip is perfect for blending around noise and eyes.

To reuse, simply wash with soap and water and let it air dry!

You can find them all over professional makeup stores.

Beautiful Bridal Photo Shoot with Sylva K & Team

A lot was happening at Sylva K Studio on Monday March 22^nd! We started bright and early at the studio, prepping for our exciting Bridal Photo Shoot. Here is some behind the scene pictures of our exciting day!!

We can’t wait to share the final pictures  with you, but first let us introduce you to the talented photographer who is behind all these beautiful pictures, Brian Huynh.

Brian Huynh is a up and coming photographer currently based in Montreal, Canada. He currently shoots fashion, glamour, people, fine art, events and things that make others happy.

Due to the beautiful wedding season being so close, we got inspired to do a bridal photo shoot. Our canvases were two beautiful models; Barbara and Laurence. Thank you girls,  you were amazing!!

For the girl’s looks, we gave Barbara, a sophisticated and classic bridal look, using neutral hues and bright red lip stick. Her hair was curled and waved, bobby pinned up with beautiful flowers underneath her up do.  Gorgeous!

For Laurence, we gave her a fun, fairy tale, almost “Alice in wonderland” bridal look! For makeup, I used a lot of bright colors, soft pink cheeks and bright pink for her lips. Her hair was waved and braided. Our gifted Hair Stylist made her a crown using Laurence’s hair. Yes!! She braided her hair into a crown!!! How original!

Giorgio Armani Master Corrector

One of the top correctors out there!

Master corrector will give you an instant rested look! It does not irritate the skin and it lasts all day long! The best thing about these correctors is that because they dry so fast you can reapply (on top of your first application) a couple of times to get the coverage you want!

There are 4 kinds of correctors;

The Pink concealer is for dull skin, it corrects yellow and olive pigmentation.

The Orange concealer is for more olive or dark skin. It can also conceals freckles, dark spots and hyper-pigmentation.

The Yellow concealer is for more pink skin tones. It brighten up the skin tone.

The Green concealer is to tone down the redness in skin, whether it’s small blemishes, rosacea or skin irritation, this will work wonders on your skin!!!

If you decide to go buy one of this miracle tubes, I suggest trying it at an Armani counter first to make sure you have the right shade for you.

This Dior blusher and skin illuminator is my favourite!  I’m specifically using the  PINK DEFILE, CATWALK PINK 003. It’s very hard to find that kind of pink, the color is very pure and bright! It gives your cheeks an instead glow! I love love love it!!! It’s perfect for the woman who’s always on the go. You don’t even need a brush! You just flip the blush over and dust it on your face.
